Secret Policeman's Ball The Secret Policeman's Ball is a musical and comedy gala put on by Amnesty International since the late 1970's to raise awareness and funding for free speech and Human rights. To date there have been 7 official Balls - in 1979, 1981, 1987, 1989, 2006, 2008 and 2012 - which have attracted established comedians and musicians, many actively engaged with Amnesty International, to use comedy, music and entertainment to communicate the serious matter of human rights infringement.

The Secret Policeman's Ball Podcast features clips of some of the most memorable and funniest moments from the events 30+ year history including past and modern classics such as Rowan Atkinson's Headmaster sketch, Michael Palin and John Cleese - "Dead Parrot", David Armand sign language to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" as well as backstage vox pops with performers.
